Building a campaign through Heroix 3.0 is easy. Just follow these simple steps.
Click on Create New Campaign and select the modules you would like to use for this event. Then, enter your campaign (event) name and your campaign (event) URL.
Please note: Underscores cannot be used in campaign URLs – but you can use hyphens to separate words if necessary.
Select your campaign (event) date and enter an address if relevant.
If this is a campaign for ongoing activities, such as community fundraising, you can select the option for an extended period campaign.
Finally you can turn Donor Uplift on or off for this particular campaign (event). For more information about Donor Uplift, please contact your account manager.
Select your layout for your microsite content from a variety of pre-designed templates. You can also select your colour scheme or create a custom colour scheme to match your brand colours.
You’ll need to upload your campaign (event) image to continue with the setup. If available, upload your other campaign design assets, but you can also come back to those later if needed.
Your campaign is now ready to go live.
Now you can go back and concentrate on improving the look and feel of your microsite. Click on Edit Micro-site to edit the primary content, images and colour schemes etc. You can also load custom buttons and add additional links and pages to the micro-site, or remove pages you do not want.
If this is a Peer to Peer campaign, click on the Edit Peer to Peer Features option. Here you can add a custom page story, set a custom default goal, edit your team options and manage your email templates for fundraisers.
If this is an Appeal, or a Peer to Peer campaign with Appeals, click on Edit Appeals to update the preset donation amounts and you can also include an image associated with the value if desired.
To make any changes to the campaign date, name or add a thank you video, just go to the Edit Campaign Details section
HANDY HINT: You can use the Preview Microsite function throughout the process to see how your campaign is looking. Once you are happy with the look and feel, you can go live by clicking the button in the top right hand corner.
